Hips mobility, front and middle splits (active flexibility)
Welcome to my flexibility lesson!
This lesson focuses on improving your active front and middle splits while developing strength and control. We'll also spend extra time working on hip rotation and mobility to help you move more efficiently and safely.
We start with a short warm-up for the neck, shoulders, and hips, followed by activation squats. Then we'll move to the mat, where we'll work on a series of exercises for the front and middle splits, with a special focus on hip rotation.
Equipment needed: at least two yoga blocks, a resistance band or yoga strap, a yoga mat, a small towel or cloth to help you slide on the floor and extra kneepads if you have sensitive knees.
Feel free to put on your favourite relaxing playlist to help you enjoy the class even more. Remember to drink water whenever you need it, and most importantly, enjoy the class! 😄
