Flowy Floor Loops
Flowy Floor Loops offers some mobility and floor work that can help you work on your flow. This tutorial goes over three main concepts:
- Leading and finishing movements with your head
- Creating opposition
- Looping
These are three base concepts to create seamless flow and this is a sequence I love teaching to beginners and even more advanced dancers who want to smooth out their movements. Although this tutorial is made for floor work (no pole needed), the concepts apply to any movement where we want to add flow, so you can take these concepts and apply them to other practices. You also don't need a huge floor space for these exercises, it is 100% small space friendly.
The tutorial includes specified mobility work to warm up for some of the movements, mobility and movement drills to improve your flow, and two loops to take into your practice.
